Editorial standards

Useful, sourced, and clear about limitations.

RFPlease publishes procurement guidance to help vendors understand a process and reach the correct official source. Product marketing does not override factual accuracy.

Source standards

  • Prefer agency, legislative, regulatory, and official program sources.
  • Link factual rules and program requirements to the source whenever practical.
  • Distinguish RFPlease interpretation from official instructions.
  • Show a review or verification date on time-sensitive guidance as the content system evolves.

Automation

Automation can support collection, normalization, summaries, and editing. It does not make an inference official. Material eligibility, deadline, and submission claims should be traceable to the source record.

Commercial independence

Comparison pages should disclose that RFPlease is a product in the category being compared. Rankings and descriptions must use public evidence and should be updated when products change.

Corrections

Material errors should be corrected promptly. When a correction changes the meaning of published guidance, the page should disclose what changed and when.
